Fall =) |
This little girl is on the move, she is rolling everywhere, it seems that I can't leave her for a moment. One day Rusty and I were in the office looking at something on the computer for a short while, and Sophia was in the living area on the floor, when we came back into the room we saw she was not in the spot we left her, half of her body was under the sofa!! It was hilarious. She used to have a small mat she played and played on, that small mat has been substituted for a Full sized comforter we lay out on the floor so she can roll wherever she would like. I have been working more with teaching her to crawl, she will get on her knees and push off, the only thing is she is scooting on her face because she will not use her arms yet. Her poor face, as soon as I prop her arms to stay up front she automatically takes them to her sides. Oh well, practice, practice, practice. She is getting pretty good at sitting up for longer periods of time, by long I mean 5-10 seconds or so. ; )

She loves to touch peoples faces, or should I say loves to pinch. At times when we are laying in bed she will turn to her side facing you and play with my face, it's really sweet, for the first few seconds anyways. When you hold her and have her face to face her hands will go to your face, she will start out gentle and then turn mean with grabbing at it. It's kind of cute when she will have her hands on your cheeks, she will then open her mouth and try to bring your face to her mouth, it's like she wants to bite you. lol Speaking of biting, yesterday she was teething a bit, so I put a bit of oral gel on and I felt it!!! It was a tiny, sharp piece of tooth coming through her bottom gums, she's getting teeth. =)
During this month was the first time she met her Papi. It was a good time, Rusty's dad came into town for the weekend to meet and spend time with Sophia it was a good time. I'm glad that they finally got to meet each other.

just chillin on gg's bed |
My Grandmother, and Sophia's GG (great grandmother) had a full hip replacement recently. She is still in hospital and is doing well. We went to visit her in the hospital this past Wednesday, she was happy to see Sophia, I think that babies really brighten the spirits of older people, especially during a recovery. It was neat to see that. We stayed for a bit and played some 31, always a fun game with this family, although my grandpa got in on it and thought we were playing poker lol it was funny!!

Heidi getting too close |

Unfortunately I do not own a scale...I would be depressed and weigh myself everyday, so I am unsure of how much Sophia weighs at this moment, nor how tall she is. I will try to use parent's scale to determine that and get back to you on those facts. All I can say is she is getting bigger and bigger, and changing so much day by day, SLOW DOWN ALREADY!
