So a week or so ago I gave Sophia her bath in the evening time, I didn't want to put any bow or headband in since she was going to sleep for the night soon. So I let her hair be, well it is getting so long now and it sits right in front of her eyes, I decided to take the scissors and cut just a bit off of her bangs. I really didn't think that it would be too hard. So I did just a tiny bit, I took off so little they were still in her face and didn't look very good. =( I felt bad and told Sophia that I would never touch her hair again her entire life.
A couple of days later, same thing took her a bath and didn't want to put anything in her hair. But this time Rusty was holding her and said get me the scissors!!! I really did not want to cut her hair, mainly because I promised her that I would never cut her hair again. But Rusty assured me that he could do it and I didn't want her hair in her eyes every night. So we got the scissors. I had Sophia not facing me and Rusty did the cutting. My poor girl, I really should have taken her somewhere to get her haircut, but really where can I make an appointment for a 4 month old to get her hair done. (I'm sure if I looked around I could have found someone) It is not the best 1st hair trim but I thought her with bangs was super cute.

When Rusty was done I was so scared to face Sophia face to face so I could see her new hair do. I looked and I couldn't stop laughing, my belly was cramping as I laughed holding Sophia and saying sorry all at the same time. I thought she looked so cute, she looked like one of the Beetles, or a member of the Monkees! I thought it was super cute. It is nothing that a bow or headband cant fix, and now she doesn't have bangs hanging in her eyes.

Since my 4 month post, on September 30th was the first time she grabbed her foot and bought it to her mouth, she never showed any interest in her feet. But as I was changing her she saw her toes grabbed them and straight to her mouth. We also went to a Parktoberfest here if Parkville, it was raising money for the park for damages caused by flooding, it was a good cause, but not too fun. Not the best way to start off my Fall festivities. But looking forward to Rusty's work Fall Festival on the 15th, and more after that. =) And I have talked my sweet husband to start running with me so Saturday was the first time we did. It was a new place I never jogged before in Riverside, and next we are going to try a new trail along the river!! I get so excited about new places to run. Rusty is a natural runner and I know it makes him feel better, so I hope he keeps it up.
