Final member of our family

We are 13 weeks into pregnancy and baby should be here March 22, 2013! We are so very happy that we are going to have another member of our family and Sophia will have a little sister...oh... I mean sister OR brother ;) Rusty and I were back and forth on having another one or not, although I think we had decided to have one more but were originally planning on starting the beginning of 2013, but things seemed to move sooner. I must be honest finding out I was pregnant was a different feeling this time. I don't want to take away from the special feeling of having another baby, but the first thought in my head was TWO! TWO! can I handle two? Secondly, I felt that having a second child was taking away from Sophia and all the things we could give to her, but soon realized that giving her a sibling is giving her one of the best gifts we could possibly give.
13 weeks
Lets just say this pregnancy is definitely not the same as the first. The reason for taking the test in the first place was due to everyday after  coming home from I was exhausted, even on easy days! I wanted to sleep as soon as I got home, which was not like me. Soon the nausea settled in! It was HORRIBLE! I would wake up so sick to where I would actually vomit, it lasted through the first 13 weeks, not fun, not fun at all. My running definitely has taken a back seat, hoping to get into it again soon, we have a 5K Turkey Trot in Dallas this year (really excited for the family to all run together). I guess it's true that no two pregnancies are the same. But since entering the second trimester I have been feeling a lot better.
On Sept 07 we went to doctors office to confirm the pregnancy, we were expecting to see a little blur with a heartbeat, but we saw an actual baby, I was way further along than we thought, we could see the arms and legs with body, once we saw that, just like with Fia, the feelings really sunk in and those feelings of energy and excitement were here! Turns out we will be having a c section again due to there is a risk of rupturing the uterus during a vaginal birth, which if I choose to do so I would have to go to another hospital which specializes in them. I wanted to try but I really don't see the point in taking that risk and would like to have this baby at the same hospital as last time. At home that list of Things To Do grew pretty large! We are converting the office into Fia's room and then Fia's old room to the new baby's room due to the office is larger and she needs a larger room now. We are then converting the downstairs to a multi use room, tv room, playroom, guest area (good luck to us) we also want to repaint pretty much all the walls in this house due to we no longer like the colors, oops!
There are a lot of plans which will have to be made! I am really enjoying my job at Farmer's and am already starting training next week for the next salary grade. I feel I can make a future here and want to see that out. But with having baby 2 and thinking about working full time, caring for two children, keeping up with home responsibilities, and still having time for myself and Rusty himself seems like entirely too much!! On top of that I can't imaging paying for two at daycare but only time will tell. It's definitely not impossible due to there are many out there who have conquered this and some with more than two children  I must say being able to stay at home for Sophia's first 11 months was the best thing ever. Rusty and I were also talking about moving within the next 1- 2 years, but that has been pushed to maybe 2 - 4 years, at least before Sophia starts school,  due to we want to be in a better area for schools and also would like our next home to be one big enough and nice enough for us to be happy for a long while, we are not going to want to move again after this.
Loves corn on the cob!
My Sohia is 16 months now and she is the best little girl ever!!!! I have always said this, but she is the funniest girl, she cracks me up everyday, she learns so fast and picks up both good and bad from daycare, I am happy she is at daycare, I really like it, and Sophia loves it as well. Every morning when we pull up she gets all excited and can't wait to go in. I try to get kisses from her before I go but she's jumping out of my arms to go play, she loves other kids. Every morning when we walk in all the other kids say hi to Sophia. When Rusty goes to pick her up he say's she just looks at him, smiles, and keeps playing. I think she just really loves the socialization with other kids one reason she will love having a sibling kind of close in age. She walks around the house like she is the boss, she is a times, bath time is the best time of the day, it's a pain to brush her teeth, unless she's in the bath, she loves the word no, she likes to give you a mean stare then start laughing afterwards, she will do it over and over (gets me rolling on the floor laughing), she can eat a whole field of corn on the cob (she seriously loves it!) She loves Elmo and the Mac, her vocabulary is building everyday, she blows kisses, says bye bye to everyone, she says "tickle, tickle, tickle" as she tries to tickle you, she loves when you tickle her feet, she will place her feet in your face so you can tickle, she says dada a lot, and mama when she wants me, or food, or just sees me, she can say Heidi, light, night night, nose and eyes while pointing at them, and still enjoys reading books!
Here's to the next and final journey of pregnancy!

Stuff: My friend Whitney had her wedding recently. She planned it in her parents backyard, which I swear it was the cutest wedding ever it turned out really really nice.
My sister also got married in August in Wichita KS, we are so very happy for her and the boys. Unfortunately we were not able to make the wedding but she looked beautiful.

We went to Dallas later in August in place of a trip Rusty and I were planning on taking to New Orleans, but since I was pregnant we decided not to go and to visit family instead, which is still always a good time.
She loves outside, every morning
