Growing Family: 3-4 months

Brooke will be 4 months in 5 days. She is getting big very fast like they always seem to do. She is going into size 2 diapers and is in 3-6 month clothing now. She has began the "b" sounds, she is too cute the way she moves her lips to talk to you and making different sounds, I can watch it all day long. Still not rolling over yet, she will roll from back to side, when on belly she has only rolled twice to her back, and that was on the bed and I think she was at an angle which helped her roll. She loves human touch, she prefers to be held or touched. She is definitely a thumb sucker, as much as I try to get the binki in there, she prefers the thumb. When she does take the binki she wants to hold my finger at the same time, she just really needs touch. Sophia was in her crib at three months, Brooke is not yet. She was to be last month but....this is my last baby and once she is gone in her bed I will never have a baby to be at my side any more. =( I have to place her in her bed this week!!! She sleeps through the night for the most part but will wake up at 230 or 300 at times and I feed her to put her to bed, creating a bad habit. Teething has started. She is in that drooling stage and can be irritable once the pain starts. She is too cute!
Her and Sophia still seem to get along.She smiles and stares at Sophia whenever Sophia is playing or talking. Sophia will talk to Brooke, and when she does she is as close to her face as possible. Sophia will try to tickle Brooke, kiss her or try to lay on her like she is a pillow. They are so sweet together. No real jealousy yet, but when at parent house Sophia's old Bumbo was there and we placed Brooke in it for the first time, Sophia became a bit upset saying noand pointed to Brooke, she was only a bit upset. When we took Brooke out, Sophia came over and pointed at Brooke and the Bumbo for us to place Brooke back in it. So she seemed to get over it pretty quick. Brooke like Sophia loves to be outside and which makes it easy to take the girls out to the park.
The new job is a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I FINALLY got out of training this past Monday, and can now work and make my own money. I am scheduled 3 shifts a week, I thought they would be shorter shifts like 3-5 hours, but JS has longer 6 hour shifts which is worth it. I can't beat working 3 days a week, although I plan on picking up at least 1 shift during my days off. I love being home during the day to take care of girls and home. When I first started I really did not like it and thought I can not serve tables anymore, I was out of practice and used to sitting all day, so running around a big restaurant which never seemed to slow down was quite the change, but like riding a bike it came back to me within the couple of weeks.
