Sista, Sista! Sophia

    Sophia is being such a great older sister! Although she still plays a lot and will ignore Brooke at times, when she does pay attention to her it is so sweet. When Brooke is upset Sophia will go to her and get in her face and say it's okay! She will go to her face and just laugh, Brooke L-O-V-E-S Sophia, she will follow her all day with her eyes to see what she is doing, she will look up to her and smile non stop. Sophia in passing will go and pat Brooke on the head, or give her a kiss on her head. I love that they love each other.

Bubble Guppies anyone?

     My my Sophia! She has grown so much, holding her I notice more and more how big she is, she is so long, and she is turning into a KID!! AAAAHHHHH!!! My little girl, I squeeze her so much hoping she will shrink, or stop growing, its not working. She is getting so smart, her vocabulary is coming along great, she can communicate most things clearly, there are still some words or phrases still needing work. She is definitely in repeat mode, and likes to mock you when you talk to her. 

  Now she love Bubble Guppies, books (still), playing outside or at the parks, the big girl swings, ABC Mouse, walking, shopping, coloring, running around the house playing hide and seek, playing monsters, and just being silly. She is one quick girl and loves to climb anything and everything, she will hang from our dining room table with her legs up and swing from it, and that's nothing! She is in every essence a dare devil, she will try and do anything she "thinks" she can do, the girls scares the heck out of me! She goes up and down our stairs as fast as she can and tries not to use the railing or the wall, she climbs up the kitchen cabinets, there is nothing at the park she will not attempt, I had to run across the park to stop her from trying the money bars, umm HELLO she couldn't even reach them. I love she tries to do a lot on her own, I just wish she was a bit more careful. I feel bad when I see my little girl with scratches and bruises on her legs, but I guess it's all about being a kid. I swear I watch her like a hawk but still she manages to get hurt. And did I mention this little girl can run!! She runs so fast her body cannot keep up with her legs sometimes and she just falls, she will run down the hill in our yard and manage to keep up with herself. And when we run around the island in the kitchen I have to run pretty fast to hurry and find a hiding place before she sees me, she's a quick one!

    She is a sweet princess when she wants to be but BOY she can have an attitude. There are times when she wakes from a nap and you can tell by the snarl on her face she is not in a good mood. I try not to laugh, but she will snarl, point her finger and say "No Mommy, no." I'll say "Sophia, don't talk to mommy like that, be nice, or your going to time out" "She'll think about it, and either walk away, or say it again and go to time out. Or there are times I'll threaten time out, and she says, "No, you time out, while still pointing her finger at me. I already can tell she is going to be a handful. She is not like this all the time, and thankfully not in public!! She's usually good about eating what we have, and I'm proud to say she can handle a little bit of spice, although I choose not to give her to much, for the most part she will eat everything we eat. She is in LOVE with watermelon, grapes, fruits snacks, and corn on the cob, and of course Oreos and rocky road ice cream, the last two are seldom. But likes, rice, chicken, spaghetti and meat sauce, crackers, cheese, and anything in a sandwich, I found it is a great way to sneak in veggies. She also loves to dip everything into whatever there is, ketchup, mayo, ranch ect. 

  So in love with both my girls! They grow so fast.
