30 Weeks

30 Weeks
30 weeks. I cannot believe it has already been 30weeks!! I think that pregnancy is different for every woman, I have heard that it seems as though it lasts forever, and also that the time flashes by, I am in group B, it is going real fast, and the later in pregnancy I get, it seems to only be going faster. I am excited and getting a bit anxious as well. Rusty and I keep saying once April is here its countdown time!! My baby shower is this Sunday, I am really excited to get the baby's room prepared, my parents actually bought the crib today, and we are still looking for a dresser. I need to buy the bedding online and am still debating on getting a chandelier for the room. I wont be able to decide till all the baby's things are in the room. We saw the perfect chandelier at Home Depot, but just not too sure if its going to go well with the style of the room yet, so so ready to get room together.

Sleeping for me is still good, I don't have a problem until I have to move, my lower right side of my back has been bothering me for a couple of weeks, it hurts to walk at times and move, I pretend its not there. Rusty helps with a back rub which was nice. Oh an I can't sleep past 6:45 and at latest 7am,  I at times wake up before my alarm. Trying to take an easy whenever I can my Monday naps help out. =) I have been noticing my belly getting bigger every week, which may be causing the back ache, and also making it hard to breath, I feel like I am way out of shape, but I know that this is normal. Also the movements that I feel are different, you can really feel her entire body or body parts sliding across my stomach, and it is very obvious from the outside when she kicks. I wonder when she moves, was that her arm, or leg or what was that?? It's really still very neat to feel her move, and grow. I found out last doctors appointment that I passed the glucose test which was nice, but I really just want another ultra sound, we haven't had one forever, and not too sure if we get another one.
Hummus and bread
Just a funny story:This morning Million Dollar Baby, Hilary Swank the female boxer. Well anyways Rusty gets into his silly moods and starts pretending to box away in the air and keeps saying " Always protect yourself" Then he comes towards me and I say "You better be careful your not that good and might actually hit me" Sure enough  he was boxing away and hits me!! His hands drop and they go to cover his mouth and says "Oh, my God, are you okay, I am so so sorry" I was laughing so he knew I was okay, he didn't actually hit me, his hand grazed my belly, no harm, but he was concerned. Jokingly I told him I had to go get the baby book and write this down. He really just barely touched my belly. But to make up for it he took me to Carollo's Italian Grocery in the River Market for cannoli, and tiramisu, we love going there for Italian desserts. We also went to the Indian market for some great bread and hummus, we couldn't stop eating the bread, it was so good.

HEIDI UPDATE: Our dog Heidi's healing was going perfect, the redness around her cut was all gone and was all the color of her flesh. I was so happy that we were almost done with the constant vet appointments and this stupid cone! But of course something had to happen right? Well just yesterday Saturday I came home from work and Rusty was trying to surprise me  and he had half the guestroom painted and we were going to go see a movie (Hall Pass) but then as I was getting ready I heard Rusty yell, he noticed that Heidi, with her cone on, had managed to bite out her stitches AGAIN!! We had bought an alternative color which was more comfortable and inflatable, we only used it when we were home and able to supervise, but obviously this cone does not work the way it was supposed to. I was so beyond stressed as was Rusty, we knew we had to take her to an Emergency Vet on Saturday night because I was scared of it getting infected again. So our vet referred us to an Emergency Clinic in Overland Park KS. We took her there and got it cleaned out and re stitched for the 3rd time. Can you believe it 3 times!! This has been an ongoing nightmare. So now we are stuck with the hard uncomfortable plastic cone for Heidi for another 10 - 12 days. Poor girl has been through so so much. I absolutely hate seeing her after she has had pain meds or anesthesia she is just not herself and looks so drugged!! But she is going to be okay and with this cone left on there should be no more set backs. We cant afford anymore especially right before the baby comes.

  Until next time.
