Amost 37 weeks and Unemployed

    Hello all. I am almost at the end of my 36th week, 37 weeks you can have what is considered a full term pregnancy and I must say I wouldn't mind too much going into labor within the next two weeks or so. I of course want a healthy baby and want her to come when she is ready but my job at Direct Buy of Kansas City  has closed their doors and I am now without a job, can you believe it? I can't, it happened this morning and now it sinks in that I am unemployed and pregnant, I am apart of the 8.8% of other Americans without a job. We were planning on me being off for maybe two months or so for the baby, so thankfully we have been saving for time off, but I still had at least 4 more weeks to work and have paychecks coming in. This has been an eventful pregnancy with the stress of what happened to Heidi, and me losing my job.
    Before this happened I was looking forward to time off, being able to get ready for baby, relax, watch TV, just vegg out, I have always worked, since I was 16 I ALWAYS had a job, now I don't know what to do, I keep thinking about Direct Buy, my orders, members, my list of things I need to get done, but now I have nothing to do, no emails, or messages to respond to, nothing. I know that when you have a job you think " I would give anything to not have to go to work, and be off" but not til you don't have that job anymore do you realize...you need it!! I'm a worker. It was a sad day for all at work, it's not just like I got fired, the business is closing, all employees are losing their jobs, today they will walk into their jobs ready to work, then be told there is no longer a job there for them. I wish all of them good luck and hope they all find jobs soon. It may not be easy.
    On another note, I had my doctors appointment on Monday, all was great, and there is not another ultrasound scheduled, the only way there would be another scheduled would be if there was some kind of abnormality, so we will not get to see her till the due date, I was hoping for one more ultrasound but I think I can wait to see her in person. =)  Everything is still on schedule and its just waiting now. Her head is down which is where it is supposed to be, I feel her movements like crazy, she mainly lies on the right side of my stomach, at times I feel her entire back side, at times she may get close to under my ribs, so I place my hand under them to stop her from kicking them. As far as feeling her "kick" I don't think that I am feeling that, the movements are more like she is just moving around, like shes trying to get comfortable, its like she is rolling around. I am going to try to keep the video camera next to me from now on so that I can get a clip of her moving,you can see my belly really move from the outside.  It's pretty neat to see.

    As for her room, I finally got her bedding, and the room turned out differently than I had originally imagined it to be, but I still love it. I still need some wall decor and a changing pad cover, I am going to get some black and white photos of Rusty, Heidi, the baby and I to place in her room with white and lavender frames. I think it will be cute. Thanks to my sister for pressuring me and coming with me to get the bedding because I was having a heck of a time deciding on the one I really liked, I thought it would be the easiest decision, but it was not. OH!! and as for her name I am not saying anything...lol... but Rusty and I think that we are about 85% set on what her name is going to be. That being said we are still waiting to see her in person before we make it official, but I am really excited for it. And her clothing collection is growing, everything for the baby is taking over parts of the house, Rusty's team at work threw a baby shower for me, and my job also had a baby shower as well. It was very sweet and nice of both places to throw us a shower, so we got many more baby items, and lots of little girl clothes!! I love her clothes, I can't wait to actually see her in them.
    Her room is off limits to Heidi and I keep the door closed and only go in to clean, vacuum, and get stuff together. Rusty will go into to look in the crib and closet, it is very cute to see him in there just thinking about her being here, we both will do this periodically. The nesting has continued, I have been doing lot of laundry with her clothes, towels and things. Still clean constantly, and clean OUT items around the house, since it feels smaller and smaller with the baby stuff coming in.
