Growing Family: 10 months

    As always, a little late on updating the blog!! She isn't quite 11 months yet, we still have about 6 more days but...at her 9 month appointment she weighed 17lbs, she was 27 3/4" long. Sophia has been great at pulling herself up and has actually already taken her first steps! She stands up a lot and is getting her balance down, she takes at times anywhere from 2 to 4 steps at a time. It is the coolest thing to watch, I can't believe she is going to be a walker soon! We have tried so many times to get it on camera but we always miss it. But we promise she is starting to walk!!She now has her two middle front teeth so she now has 6 teeth total, she still loves to eat!! I mean this girl LOVES to eat, she will eat anything, there is nothing she does not like. Everything I eat (mostly everything) she wants to try and she will gobble it up. When me and Rusty eat at home she comes up to me first and I will give her a bite of whatever, then when I'm done she will then go to Rusty and wait for him to give her something, and this is even after she has already eaten! If we give her snacks she will make sure she tries to pick up every piece at once, like they are going to disappear or something.And people know not to talk to her when she is eating because she will ignore you.
    I know that I have said this before, but she is sooo funny! I get a real kick out of her, she is just so sassy and she can't even speak yet. She likes to point, she thinks its funny, or that it is a game, she yells a lot, she talks a lot too, mainly just babble now. Although she can wave, and she says bye, and hi now. She loves other kids. Just today my mom and I went to different day cares to check them out and she loved seeing all the kids, she waved and said hi, or bye to all of them, I can tell she is ready to socialize with others, this is one big reason for daycare, that and the fact that I got a new job!!! I work at Farmers now, I have regular hours =) and I am so very excited to start and see where this can take me.
    She loves to play chase, I usually hold her and Rusty will chase us, or we will chase Rusty, she gets a good laugh, or even if we just run around with her she thinks its funny. She gives kisses and hugs more often, but still only when she wants to, I appreciate every one. She is a daredevil Rusty and I say, she will try to do anything and everything. She has started to climb on things already, she will climb up on her walker and walk around it, she will duck her head and crawl under all of the dining room chairs, then try to climb over the bar to get out, she is very entertaining to watch what she will get herself into. She has a bit of a temper, if you take something away from her she will yell or have a scream, I'm a bit worried about this, I hope it will tame down.

We are in the middle of planning her first birthday and I am real excited for it all! Last week I was going through all of her pictures on our computer and I had a crying fit! I can't believe she is already going to be 1 yr old. I am very happy that she is growing and is healthy, but it is just so sad to see her grow up so fast. .
