Eight Months

Brooke during our Thanksgiving trip had turned 8 months already. She has mastered crawling and is my shadow, she also loves to climb up on me whenever she has the chance to, whether I am sitting on the floor or standing. She loves to stand and prefers it. She is also Sophia's little shadow now too. They take turns and will either play in Brooke's room or Sophia's, they are never  apart when they are playing, always together. You will hear Brooke cracking up and go to check on them and Sophia is usually doing something silly to entertain her little sister, thats not to say you won't hear crying or tantrums because Sophia will take away whatever Brooke is playing with or Brooke won't leave Sophia alone. I can tell Sophia loves that Brooke is more mobile and can do more, I can also see Brooke is very eager to walk, she wants to really play with Sophia.
hilarious! she was playing over the vent!
She eats stage 3 foods, and unlike Sophia feeding went pretty quick, Brooke takes her sweet time and I at times I have to sneak food into her mouth, especially if it is something she doesn't care for. She loves the sweet corn, chicken noodle, and cheerios a lot. No more breastfeeding, that came to an end two weeks ago. =( Loves to laugh, very impatient when changing her, she's ready to go, and we have started to see a little bit of a temper when she is stopped from playing with the phones, or isn't allowed to chew or play with a certain something around the house. We will call her Sophia Jr when we see this. Still very easy to make laugh and smile, she really has the biggest smile i have ever seen.

The girls went to see Santa this week. I like always prepare for the worse, again to be surprised that the photo was not of them both screaming and crying but to actually be calm, and both be looking at the camera, although no smiles I loved it. I was dreading the wait, I had heard from people and all over Facebook about the hours of waiting in line, luckily we went during the week when Rusty got off and only waited 25 minutes to see him, then got to see Zona's tree and lights which I loved , walked the girls around and had dinner. My original idea was for our photos for our Christmas Cards to be taken in front of the tree, but it never worked out with weather and timing. So we had to settle with a quick snapshot in front of our tree, none of us really photo ready, but oh well, they had to do.
This year Sophia told Santa she wanted presents for Christmas lol. Although for weeks she kept telling me we have to go shopping for puzzles, and trains! It's the cutest.
